I am Peter George Dillistone the younger son of James and Mollie Dillistone of Evesham, Worcestershire, England.
Some years ago an aunty of my father researched the Dillistone family tree and traced it back to James and John DeListon, two Huguenot brothers who came to England from Normandy or Brittany c.1700.
One of them had a son named Timothy c.1720 and he had two sons, Timothy c.1745 and John c.1760.
The original research covered the period up to 1935 with some additions in 1948. My own family is decended from John and my additions bring my personnal family up to date. In other lines there must be a lot of recent data missing which I will be happy to receive.
I have now developing the family tree in a package called "GenoPro" which allows me to display the tree on the WWW.
In order to view the Tree's you will need a copy of "GenoPro" which is available as a FreeWare package and you will be directed to obtain a copy when you try to open a tree. If you are happy with the reports only then you need take no further action
You should use Internet Explorer 3.0 (or later), or make sure your browser can host an ActiveX control. If you are using Netscape Navigator, you may not be able to view the tree within the browser unless you install an ActiveX plug-in. Further advice is available at www.genopro.com
You will be prompted to select an alternative Google Maps API, but as I don't use any Google Maps it is irelevant, so click OK.
I have published three trees.
My Tree shows my direct link to John and my immediate Family and relations.
John's Tree shows the Dillistone Family Tree from John as far as my distant Aunty went.
Timothy's Tree shows the Dillistone Family Tree from Timothy as far as my distant Aunty went.
Tip:
When reading the tree's if you click on the individual 'gender' box you will get a pop up data box.
If you click on an individuals name you will get directed into the 'Geno Report'
To return to the tree click the 'Green Tree' at the end of the page heading and you will be prompted to reopen the file
