We hosted another party of young People from Barby in August 2005.
Our visitors arrived after lunch time on Monday 1st August. They were greeted and went off to their hosts house for a rest after the journey.
A welcome dinner was held in the evening in the Parish room during which our guests entertained us with a traditional puppet show titled "How Pink Panther beat the Devil".

The Puppet Show in action.
It is all about a challenge between the Devil and an Angel to do their best in converting people to Bad or Good. The Devil becomes a sheep to entice a Priest to evil while the Angel becomes Pink Panther to convert a group of thieves to repentance.
The Angel wins, of course.

The Cast take a bow.
On Tuesday the Group, together with the youth group from Stourport, went off to the Kinver Scout Camp site until Friday
Here are a few reminders of those four days.

This is one picture you always take from the side!.

More target practice

I do not know, one day perhaps some one will explain!
Some Abseiling practice.

This is the Pioneering Test.
Each group built a tower and then tested it by all members of the group climbing onto it.

And then it was back to Stourport

Then it was the traditional Bar-B-Q this year at Liz and Brian's.
