Activities.

Throughout the year there are a number of activities organised for any one interested to take part in.

Coffee at St. Michael's

St. Michael's is open for "Coffee and Crafts" on the first Saturday of each month from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

Emmaus.

Members of All Saints run an Emmaus Group, which meets in members houses.

Charity Support

The St. Michael's Parochial Church Council (PCC) has a policy of supporting the Church Missionary Society (CMS) and the United Society for the Propogation of the Gospels (USPG) by an annual donation.
We take part in the annual door to door collection for Christian Aid.
At our Harvest Festival the produce donated is auctioned off and the proceeds sent to Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO).
Retiring collections are held in support of World Emergencies.
The PCC has decided to give regular support to the Worcestershire Farmers Overseas Action Group (FOAG).
FOAG is a local organisation run by Worcesterhire Farmers to aid development in Uganda.

Details of Christian Aid, CMS, USPG and VSO can be found on our "Links" page.

100 CLUB

This is a new way of fundraising for us, which started this year. Members pay a yearly subscription (currently £12) and a draw is held on the second Sunday of each month for a first and second prize of cash.
50% of the money collected is distributed in prize money, the other 50% going to Church funds.
Membership is open to anyone, not just members of the congregation, and is a good way of supporting your local church with a chance to win something back!

WEDNESDAY LUNCH CLUB

St. Michael's Luncheon club meets on Wednesday's at 12-noon and is open to everyone. The fare is simple based on tried and tested favourites. The club offers the chance to meet and chat with friends, to share the week's gosip and a joke as well as eat a meal.

SUNDAY STALLS IN CHURCH

Regular stalls are held in the Parish Room after service on Sunday's selling an assortment of goods to raise funds for the Church.

OTHER EVENTS

Events take place throughout the year and we try to include something to appeal to everyone.
We have organised Quiz Nights, Treasure Hunts and Burns Nights. The Valentines Choir has also performed here.
We have run several successful coach trips in the past including to Glastonbury and to the Christmas market at Lincoln.
Our most popular events are always those that include refreshments: we are lucky to have good catering facilities at St. Michael's and capable and enthusiastic volunteers to provide lunches or suppers, together with plenty of takers to consume them!

Please visit our "Calendar" page for dates already fixed.
